How these numbers are produced
Names are compared after lowercasing and stripping punctuation, and nothing else — no fuzzy matching, no transliteration handling, no date-of-birth check. The figures are generated by tools/build_overlaps.py from the same index the search uses, so nothing on this page is typed by hand.
