Sanctioned fleet map
Positions appear only when an optional AIS snapshot has been written to
data/ais_last.json. Without that file the map shows the disclaimer and counts only.
Read this before using the map.
AIS positions are last reported public broadcasts when available — not continuous
tracking and not proof a vessel is there now. Vessels that go “dark” simply stop reporting.
MMSI/IMO values are taken from official sanctions list text and must be checked on the
issuing authority’s register. A matching name is a prompt to verify, never proof of identity.
